Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails with NYR Organic Beauty Oil

I have now finished my studies and I am back to blogging! I have created an additional blog called ElizabethDorrian.com to work along side this one. On there I will be focusing on beauty, lifestyle and health, leaving this one to focus solely on fashion and style.

My first post is a review of NYR Organic's Organic Beauty Oil, check out the amazing results and my review at: http://www.elizabethdorrian.com/#!blog/c1eac

Classic Model Outfit

Sunglasses - Gucci
Ring - Swarovski Crystal
Watch - DKNY
Shirt - Dorothy Perkins
Cami - Marks and Spencer
Jeans - Next
Bag - Next

Last week I shared how I was excited about my job that day and asked if you'd like to hear about some of my modelling jobs. I had a really positive response from it which I'm really grateful of, I haven't spoken about my modelling before on my blog so am glad you'd like to hear a little about it every now and then.

Sunglasses - Gucci
Watch - DKNY
Shirt - Dorothy Perkins
Cami - Marks and Spencer
Jeans - Next
Bag - Next
Boots - Topshop
This is a fabulous go-to outfit for modelling! It's a real classic staple I highly recommend. Whether you're going to castings or a job, this causal chic outfit always looks on-trend and is really comfy to wear (which is so important!). All you need is some skinny jeans, they don't have to be black, and a baggy white shirt with a cami underneath. The cami underneath is important, in castings you will need to take the shirt off to show the tight fitting cami and therefore your figure. You can feel quite naked like this, particularly with this English weather! So having a casual shirt to drape over the top between gives an effortless chic everyone will want to emulate.

Boots - Topshop
The skinny jeans are again essential, particularly if you are going to a casting, as they will show off your gorgeous figure and give the illusion of your legs being longer and leaner.
These are new from Next and are actually called leggings, although they look and feel like jeans in every way, the material they are made out of is actually stretchy so they're far more comfortable to wear and no-one will know the difference but you.

Boots - Topshop
These pictures weren't taken on the day, I recreated the look here for you and chose to couple it with these new, gorgeous camel, suede boots from Topshop. These flat, almost riding boot style, boots is really in this season! They're super comfortable and great if you know you'll be doing lots of walking and rushing around. But on the day I knew I wouldn't be walking too much so I went with some black suede wedge ankle boots, from New Look, which would also work really well with this kind of look.

What are your go-to staples for a chic casual look?

xoxo

Casual Autumn Outfit Collaboration with A Fashion Oddity

Hey Guys,

I am Charlotte from A Fashion Oddity I blog about fashion, beauty and everything in-between.

I feel privileged to be writing for one of my favourite blogs ever.  Together we came up with the title of a casual autumn outfit. I wear this outfit all the time when I don’t know what to wear or I don’t have anything special planned so this is usually my go to for a long day at college.

Scarf - Bijou Brigitte
Cardigan – TU at Sainsbury’s
Top – Dorothy Perkins
Jeans – Next

I love this scarf so much I had my eye on it all autumn last year and received it for Christmas. I wear it all the time with a plain top and this cardigan, my leather jacket or my parka as there’s a lot of green tones in the scarf. It’s just beautiful. This cardigan is amazing, I am not normally one for cardigans I actually only own too but I wear this all the time in the autumn as outerwear as it’s not quite cold enough for my beloved winter coat to come out but this is also my number one cosy item for around the house wear I put it on over everything.

This is just one of those ultimate comfort outfits but with the scarf being so beautiful I still feel like have made an effort.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and if you would like to see more from me please feel free to head over to my blogPinterest - Twitter  - Bloglovin - Facebook  - YouTube - Instagram

Love Charlotte

Mind, Body and Soul

Despite the name, Sweetheart Fashion was originally designed a year ago to be a blog for just about anything. Over the year I've shaped and developed my skills as a blogger and have really found my stride with Sweetheart Fashion being a fashion and style blog. However more and more I've wanted to expand what I write about and so have created a new blog under my name:

Elizabeth Dorrian

Elizabeth Dorrian, www.elizabethdorrian.com, will be a blog about lifestyle and beauty, not only will I be blogging about beauty and make-up reviews, make-up tutorials/styles etc., but also about what I eat, exercise routines/inspiration and other healthy lifestyle choices.

Over the year I've developed as a person too and I feel I need another outlet to express my creativity and my new life's phrase to live by:

Mind, Body & Soul

Mind: I wanted to shy away from coming across as just a dumb blonde model only interested in looks and instead share with you interesting things in the world of science with fblogger/bblogger/lblogger applications as I am a scientist; and encourage education, particularly women in science. (Cue Spice Girls 'Girl Power' music!)

Body: Although I eat really healthily I do struggle to find the motivation to exercise sometimes and so am not very fit or strong. Exercising has countless health benefits so I wanted to share my journey with getting fit and active in fun ways to give myself more energy and feel refreshed.
I'm a vegetarian (/want to be vegan) and eat as much organic food/drink as possible so will be sharing my meal ideas etc. too.
Also I would love to write about beauty products and will be occasionally linking this with my love of organic as well.

Soul: I've become a lot more spiritual lately and although, of course, I will not be bringing religion into my blog (want to steer clear of any controversy or arguments, everyone's entitled to their own beliefs) I will be blogging about every day things that I've found to be good for my soul; whether it be to help reduce anxiety, stress or frustration, increasing confidence, or volunteer/charitable work.

Sweetheart Fashion will continue to be available through all channels (http://sweetheartfashionx.blogspot.co.uk, www.sweetheartfashion.co.uk and www.sweetheartfashion.com) as well as appear on my new website www.elizabethdorrian.com under 'Sweetheart Fashion' in the menu.

www.elizabethdorrian.com will house both blogs as well as my shop, information on my web design and my PR guide.

I really hope you can join me on my journey with Elizabeth Dorrian Blog at www.elizabethdorrian.com and enjoy reading my lifestyle posts!

OOTD - Oxblood Trousers

Suglasses - Gucci
Necklace - Estella Barrett
Blouse - Next
Under top - Marks and Spence
Trousers - River Island
Shoes - Call it Spring
Oxblood is the hot colour this autumn, AW'14! Personally, I cannot get enough of it. I really love having a splash of colour in my trousers, they make an unusual but fabulous autumn look and help you stand out in this dreary weather.

Suglasses - Gucci
Blouse - Next
Under top - Marks and Spence
Trousers - River Island

I chose to couple this look with this gorgeous and delicate shirt from Next, it's a few years old now but never goes out of fashion and Next currently have some similar stunning designs. I love that it has a hint of being see-through and it's frilled collar, it's an edgy take on a classic Victorian style.

Necklace - Estella Barrett

Under top - Marks and Spence

With this kind of outfit it's great adding some delicate finishing touches when it comes to jewellery and make-up so as not to detract too much from your look. I wore my pretty gold bird necklace by Estella Barlett (which you can read more about HERE) and some light lipstick for a natural make-up look.

Trousers - River Island
Shoes - Call it Spring
Finally, I wore my cute vintage style shoes from Call it Spring to complete this vintage-y look. They're really comfy and having them in brown keeps it a brighter look than black.

How do you style your oxblood items for autumn?

Delicate Gold Bird Necklace

Necklace - Estella Bartlett
As modelling in my Black and Gold #OOTD post (HERE), this is a close up look at the popular Estalla Bartlett necklace. I bought this from an RSPB shop in Bath so I knew some of the money was going to charity but it is also available from Vinegar Hill in Bath and major retailers, such as Selfridge in London and John Lewis across the UK.

Necklace - Estella Bartlett
Estella Bartlett has a gorgeous collection of nature and dreamy themed jewellery, all intricately designed with exquisite detail and either gold or silver plated. With SS'14's era of statement jewellery coming to a close, delicate and timeless pieces are on trend for this season AW'14.

They all come delicately gift wrapped so they come as the ideal gift and really add to that feeling that these are something special.

Necklace - Estella Bartlett
I really love the amount of detail that's gone into her special designs, and the best part is, all her items are actually affordable! They look super expensive but their prices actually start at just £8 and go up to only £50! Amazing.
I'm definitely going to be putting some of these on my birthday wishlist this autumn.

What do you think of this small delicate jewellery trend?
