Being a student it can be hard to make your budget stretch enough to always wear the latest trends. So finding this website was a real money saver! JustFor5Pounds.com sell a range of items from clothes to accessories and ALL for just £5. I honestly couldn't believe it and was extremely skeptical of the quality. However, this dress is totally amazing and I'm super impressed.

The material is very stretchy but subtly so it doesn't look like it's about to break at the seams at all. It's a very flattering and comfortable fit, making it an ideal summer dress to just chuck on quickly for a relaxing day. The fabric's not see-through either which I was very worried about and the edges aren't frayed or poorly stitched as well. The quality honestly is like that of a high street brand, no one would ever guess that it was a bargain, at all.

I decided to complete my summer casual look with a statement long necklace from BlackTied* and other jewellery with a pair of wedges from Marks and Spencer. But this dress would go with lots of great accessories to create a range of looks, such as a small, loose belt, denim jacket, kimono, flowers in your hair or hobo bag. The dress is deal for almost any location too, for example a day in town, in the park, at the beach or lounging around. Even if this dress had been £20, I've quickly got enough wear out of it to warrant that price as I've worn it heaps, it's that comfortable. But at just £5 you really cannot go wrong.

One of my new favourites for my jewellery has to be BlackTied. Their style is ideal for summer and perfect for many looks and styles. I chose the handmade turquoise gemstone triangle, gold chain drop earrings and the handmade gemstone teardrop pendant on gold chain necklace. Lots of their jewellery is handmade and outstanding quality, the pieces feel like they're from a boutique in a far off exotic land.

I thought I'd go with a boho chic look, which is really in this season, to match the essence of the pieces. I wore my much loved crochet dress from New Look's Handcrafted Parisian Collection last year. It is however completely see-through, so I always pair it with my handcrafted lace skirt from their same collection and wear an under-top to make it look like a whole dress.

The jewellery feels great on. I wondered if the turquoise gemstones would be heavy in my ears or hurt banging my neck as they swung in the wind but you can actually barely feel they're there and they're not heavy at all. They feel very delicate and are comfortable in your ears all day.

I chose to go with two long chain pieces to really accent the boho, free-spirit look and they work really well together. But you could also wear them as everyday pieces or mix-and-match, for example, by having the necklace as a feature piece paired with small earrings and vice versa. The gold chains are fabulous quality, they're very dainty and delicate, and certainly don't feel like they're about to break or turn you a funny shade of green if you wear it too long.

The gemstone on the necklace is just perfect. It's not too big so could easily go with any outfit, day/night, casual, work or formal and with it's long chain can also make it a great feature piece. The gemstone itself is perfectly crafted and smooth, and comes in three different colours so there's one for every look.

How to ~ Start a Fashion Blog


Last week I did an interview for Firstsiteguide.com on my experiences of blogging. Their website is designed to help bloggers starting out and new bloggers by giving them hints and tips on how to be successful and get their blog off the ground. They've also interviewed a lot of established bloggers about their experiences and about any first hand tips they may have.

I was so pleased to be involved! I was inspired by other bloggers to start my own and I always hope my blog in return will inspire others to start.

Missguided have today released their new collection and I'm super excited about it! There's something stunning for every summer event from beach and swim wear to summer nights partying. Here's my top 10 from their new collection but this is just touching the surface, it was SO hard narrowing it down to just 10! Highly recommend you checking it out yourself on the Missguided website.

  1. The lace croptop is gorgeous! I love how it wraps around the shoulders and how feminine it looks.
  2. The halterneck maxi dress is a wonderful unique design. It's super sexy whilst not being too revealing so you could feel comfortable wearing it during the day or night.
  3. I can't get enough of these flower garlands! I absolutely could not resist and I've actually bought this one myself as it's by far the most beautiful one I've seen. Really looking forward to doing an outfit post for it soon when  it arrives.
  4. This is a really stunning yellow dress. Yellow is the ideal colour for summer! I've been hesitant about wearing yellows in the past but it actually suits all skin types and looks amazing on. This little number would be great to start with or perfect to add to your already yellow collection.
  5. This floral bandeau swimsuit really caught my eye for summer! I haven't worn a swimming costume since my swimming competition days at school but if you were looking for something different to a bikini this summer then I definitely recommend this one. It's a fabulous design with a great mix of flattering and sexy.
  6. Floral playsuits are a big summer favourite this year!  I love this one having the extra frills at the front for an extra flirty and fun style.
  7. The pink puff ball dress is definitely one of my top of the top. They've done a range of styles on this theme this year and this is one of their best. The bright colour looks stunning for any summer evening event and wedding!
  8. The white strappy wrap front maxi dress is gorgeous for summer days. It's a very timeless Grecian style and you'll definitely knock 'em dead wearing this dress!
  9. I love the floral pattern on this floral white shift dress. I can never get enough of florals and this unique reflection design makes for a stunning staple to your wardrobe. You could definitely dress it up with accessories for a party or wear it with some boho accessories for the day.
  10. Last but not least is the lace jumpsuit. I've never owned a jumpsuit before but I think I may start with this one. It's lace top is a really pretty design and the matching pastel trousers makes a wonderful jumpsuit, great for days out or evening events.
