OOTD - Ted Baker New Season Florals

Sunglasses - Gucci

Cami - Ted Baker
Trousers - Marks and Spencer

Today I wore my new Ted Baker, scallop edge, cami from their brand new collection. I absolutely adore their new range! The shape and pattern is ideal for this season and the best part is that the material is so luxurious that you could really dress this up for a special occasion or with a chic pair of skinny jeans for a smart casual occasion. Perfect for every summer day!

I always love Ted Baker's florals, as you may have noticed from my previous posts featuring Ted Baker such as my Ted Baker iPhone case, but these ones are particularly beautiful. They have a stunning pastel, light pink background, which is so in this season. Its pattern includes stalks and delicate leaves which isn't often included in floral designs now but really adds an extra dimension and detail. Additionally, the scallop edge is a really nice touch and finishes the piece off beautifully.

I chose to wear mine today with some skinny jeans and flats for a more casual look. I love the feel of the cami! It's super comfortable to wear and although the straps are thin, they are also comfortable and don't cut into your shoulders such as cheaper alternatives tend to. The fabric is light and airy, making ideal for hot days to keep you cool and won't stick to you when the temperature gets uncomfortable.

The pattern continues on the back and the tiny straps at the top are actually adjustable which is a really beneficial design. The top is only available down to a Small, this is a Ted Baker size 2 and UK size 10 so it originally drowned me, a size 6. But as you can see from the pictures, with the straps as tight as it can go, the fit's a lot better and doesn't look big at all.

The cami's available online and instore but selling out quickly! You can buy yours here.

Check back later this week for more of my Ted Baker favourites!

Ted Baker Flask

 Flask - Ted Baker

Seems as today is Father's Day, I thought I'd do a slightly more masculine/unisex post and review this product from my all time favourite brand, Ted Baker.
I absolutely love Ted Baker items, their quality is amazing and they always have such beautiful products. I found this stunning flask on ASOS (here) and could not believe it is only £20. The pattern on the front is just breath taking and is actually just a sleeve. This means you're able to remove it easily for washing and will enable the design to last significantly longer!

Flask - Ted Baker

The design includes real stitching and the label is actually engraved extra fabric sewn on, which all just adds to the quality and shows of the brand's attention to detail.
Most importantly, it actually works fantastically as a flask. If you it with a hot liquid, the liquid will stay above lukewarm all day. I've found even an impressive 12 hours later for it to still be above lukewarm! I've paid a lot more for a lot less volume and warmth retention quality in the past. For that reason alone I could highly recommend this product.

Flask - Ted Baker

The cute design makes it perfect for animal loving, chic women going on a camping (or glamping!) trip or even just a majestic walk on the countryside; as well as being rugged enough to look great being used by any man. But if your man would rather something slightly more rugged, there is a matching hip flask available from ASOS too for little extra (here).

Flask - Ted Baker

The lid works perfectly as a delightful cup so there's no need to worry about bringing anything extra with you and instead of the top of the flask unscrewing, they artfully slide up and down to trap and release the liquid. Therefore there's no worrying about trying to hold or losing extra parts when you need to have a drink whilst out, which is majorly convenient! I always feel when camping or hiking that I never seem to have enough hands for everything.

Do you go camping (or glamping!) or trekking country walks much? What's your key piece?

Top 10 Maxi Dresses SS'14

After my post yesterday on my H&M Maxi Summer Dress (read it here), I thought I would share my top maxi dresses available this season; as the dress I featured is from a few years ago and no longer available.

Here are my chosen Top 10! It was a difficult choice as there are so many beautiful dresses to choose from this season. Alongside the usual pretty florals, this year there are bright, bold patterns and colours to really make you stand out.

Top 10 Maxi Dresses

Topshop dress
£325 - net-a-porter.com

River Island maxi dress
riverisland.com

Swing long maxi dress
zalando.co.uk

River Island red dress
riverisland.com

Boohoo
£33 - boohoo.com

What I love about these dresses in the Top 10 is that there is a beautiful dress available for every budget! You could splash out and look stunning in Kate Moss for Topshop dress, but you could look just as stunning in a significantly cheaper dress from Boohoo, for example. Particularly if you add accessories, you don't have to spend a lot to look fabulous when you're wearing a maxi dress.

Top Save dress from this list has to be the River Island white floral maxi dress (top right). I love its delicate floral pattern and it looks like it would be a very flattering cut to wear.
My top slash dress is the Kate Moss for Topshop dress (bottom left). If you have the cash to splash on this dress I'd highly recommend trying this one out this summer! What a beautiful intricate design and a lovely, flowing shape. It really looks like you'd be getting your money's worth with it.

Which is your favourite?

OOTD - H&M Summer Dress

Sweetheart Fashion H&M Summer Dress
Sunglasses - Gucci
Dress - H&M

This is one of my favourite summer dresses I bought a few years ago from H&M but it's perfect to wear again and again. Cheap or expensive, if you can find a summer dress you love it's worth the money for the amount of wear you can get out of them. If it's light or pastel coloured and/or floral it'll be in every year and ideal for so many summer events.

I love this dress so much, not only due to it's wonderful pastel colours, but also its amazing cut and design. The skirt is light, floaty and most of all huge so there's plenty of fabric to play around with. The light fabric flows beautifully in the wind and the layers add a great extra dimension. There are three layers of fabric that make up the skirt and I like how they've dedicated the middle one to just being a lovely pastel pink. It really makes the dress and the layers stand out.

The uneven cut in each layer as it falls adds great texture and a dreamy, free feel, as if creating your own breeze. As you can see, I have a small chest and so the frills on the front at the top can add the illusion of volume and detract from it. The bold print also really complements the dress' style and gives it a really fun feel to it.

What I love about summer maxi dresses is you can dress them up with chic accessories for special occasions such as weddings or events; or wear alone or with bohemian style accessories for casual day at the beach or park. This is particularly advantageous when on holiday! You could wear it over your bikini for the beach or pool but then add come cute accessories for dinner in the restaurant and evening entertainment another day. Definitely saves vital room in your suitcase.

Netapuppy

Fashion is definitely a form of art and when art encompasses fashion the result is chic and beautiful. I wanted to introduce the hottest, chicest puppies around, Netapuppy. I have totally fallen in love with these adorable puppies! I’m sure you can see why.

Artist Hannah Farr, from Bristol, has created these wonderful, doe eyed pooches modelling fashion accessories from high end labels such as Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel and Dior etc. Each has a unique personality and characteristics showing through the painting and are enchanting.

The picture of the delightful Maltese in the frame is an original, acrylic painting, one of one. I cannot get over how loveable he looks with the flower crown and antlers, plus the pastel colours are so cute and calming. It's a real summery, natural bohemian look and I can definitely see this head piece rocking the couture runways for a floral design.

These cuties below are prints of the original work but only 5 of these prints are ever made so it's still rather exclusive. Also, the quality of these prints is really fantastic. It's very hard to tell they're prints, even when viewed up close.

The puppy on the left is "Rosie the French Bulldog" and I think she's super cute. She has a striking large flower crown with each flower created in great detail. The rich colours really complement her ebony coat and the addition of a paw gives it charming unique personal touch. You could get lost in this little one's big dreamy eyes.

The puppy on the right is "Pamela the Pomeranian" and she has the cheekiest, happy face that is guaranteed to make you smile every time you see her. She's modelling a wonderful chain lion necklace. Looking at her, you can really image her coming to life and strutting her stuff proudly with this exquisite accessory! There's a real 3D effect to the necklace and you can almost see it shine.

This is just scratching the surface though! Hannah's now created quite a collection of stylish pups! There is a French Bulldog modelling Dolce and Gabbana's ss'14 collection, a Miniture Pinscher modelling Mulberry and an Italian Greyhound modelling next to a Valentino shoe to name but a few of these must have chic dogs.

You can check them out here on her instagram page http://instagram.com/hannahpuglover  and buy them from her etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/netapuppy
She's even started painting endearing paper mache hearts and boxes too so there's something for everyone.

You should definitely have a read of Hannah's 'About Me' page too here to read why she started netapuppy and why she loves painting them.

OOTD - Paper Dolls Floral Suit

Sunglasses - Gucci
Blazer - Paper Dolls
Top - Atmosphere
Trousers - Paper Dolls
Heels - New Look

Summer is definitely here and what's really in this season is everything floral! I absolutely love this blogger favourite! It's floral blazer and trousers from Paper Dolls. The floral design is totally stunning and works great as a suit together or separately. The fabric is so lovely they've even made a dress out of it too.
I've never worn anything from Paper Dolls before but so glad I gave them a try, the quality is amazing and it's super comfortable to wear.

Having a plain top underneath works best with key floral pieces such as these so as not to be a pattern overload and to draw the eyes to your key items. The blazer is slightly cropped which is ideal for showing off the high-waisted trousers from tucking in a plain top, or you can wear a cute top similar to mine here with subtle lace detail and that show off too. If you wanted to mix and match I'd recommend pastel colours as they're also very in this season, or if you wanted to be more dramatic, go for blacks and whites as these will mean your florals really stand out!

What I love most about this look is it is feminine and chic, making it perfect for so many summer occasions, particularly if it's going to be windy so dresses aren't really an option. It would look great dressed up for a wedding or worn separately for anything from work to lunch with your girls.

Although maybe a little pricey for most budgets I highly recommend the investment. It's a born classic piece and will all the possible outfits you can create from it, they're definitely key items that you'll be able to wear again and again.

I ordered mine from the gorgeous blogger, The Londonite, and the suit is so popular that it is virtually sold out and only available in Petite on ASOS now. But, you can order the blazer in regular fit from Amazon here:
